A plate for your chassis-notch fabrication
Available from Chubby’s Garage, this Australian-made Lowe Fabrications plate is intended to be welded to the side of the chassis rail as part of a correctly designed notch modification.
Trim and shape for the specific build
The full-length plate is 4mm thick and can be cut to the length required. Its shape may need adjustment to suit the notch. Final wheel and tyre clearance also depends on the suspension, wheel offset and other modifications.
Confirm the design before cutting
Discuss the notch design, welding, reinforcement and approval requirements with your vehicle engineer before modifying the chassis. The plate alone does not determine the clearance or suitability of the finished modification.
