Each IO12 adds 12 channels: four analogue voltage inputs (AVI), four digital pulsed inputs (DPI) and four digital pulsed outputs (DPO). Box A and Box B identify different CAN IDs, not different channel types. A compatible ECU can use one of each for up to 24 additional channels; confirm ECU support before choosing a two-box arrangement.

HT-059900 is the Box A module package and HT-059901 is Box B. HT-059902 and HT-059903 add a matching 24-pin Tyco plug and pins for Box A and B respectively. HT-059904 and HT-059905 instead include the matching 2.5m (8ft) flying-lead harness for Box A and B. Every package includes a 300mm Elite CAN cable with DTM-4 and 8-pin black Tyco connections. Images show the IO12 module, not all package contents. The BOX Only selection also includes the CAN cable.

The supplied CAN cable connects to an Elite ECU CAN port, Elite harness CAN connector or Elite four-port CAN hub. Platinum Pro Plug-in, Sport and Sprint installations require a separately ordered black 8-pin Tyco-to-black 8-pin Tyco CAN cable. A Platinum three- or six-port CAN hub installation requires the appropriate white 8-pin Tyco-to-white 8-pin Tyco cable. Select the cable type and length using the installation guide; the included Elite cable is not universal across all Haltech systems.
