The Nexus IO16 adds six analogue voltage inputs, four synchronised pulsed inputs and six half-bridge outputs through the Haltech CAN network. It supports Nexus ECUs, VCUs and dashes, plus Elite ECUs; Platinum-series ECUs are not compatible. HT-196000 includes the IO16 module, mounting hardware and Quick Start Guide. HT-196100 pairs the IO16 with the Key 2, 34-position connector plug-and-pin kit. HT-196200 pairs the IO16 with a 2.6m (8.5ft) universal wire-in harness, not a vehicle-specific plug-and-play engine harness. Product images show the common IO16 module; additional components depend on the selected kit. The inputs support a 0–5V reading range and selectable pull-ups. The half-bridge outputs support 8A sink/source operation but must not be used for drive-by-wire throttle control. When using these outputs, connect the IO16 through its constant-power and power-ground pins as specified in the installation guide.
